CONTRARIWISE is now accepting submissions to the fourth issue! For more information, see the Submissions Page and form. There are two international contests, a CSS contest, and a CSS open call. The deadline for all submissions is December 1, 2016.

At our May 22 event, we conducted our first-ever survey. Here are the results!

We had a glorious CONTRARIWISE celebration and reading on Sunday, May 22, at Book Culture. Thanks to everyone who participated, especially the audience! There are photos on our Facebook page; we will upload a few to this website soon.

The second issue of CONTRARIWISE was rated "Superior" in 2015 PRESLM, NCTE's annual contest for student literary magazines! This is our second time entering the contest and our second time receiving a ranking of "Superior" or higher. Congratulations and thanks to all who made this possible!

Thanks to all those who entered the CONTRARIWISE contests! Submissions are now closed. The editors will announce the contest winners on January 15. The third issue of CONTRARIWISE will be released in March. Stay tuned for updates!

On June 29, CONTRARIWISE founding editors-in-chief Ron Gunczler and Nicholas Pape presented at the 2015 PLATO conference in Seattle! Kelly Clevenson (now co-editor-in-chief) attended and helped with technology. Here is a video about the conference.
